                  I am…

I am a wise girl who shows emotions well
I wonder about life and the earth
I hear a volcano erupting far away
I see the earth’s tears of disappointment
I want to be closer to my relatives
I am a wise girl who shows emotions well
I pretend to be a famous reporter
I feel sad when I’m mad
I touch the sun in a panic
I worry about the after life
I cry when I see people cry
I am a wise girl who shows emotions well
I understand that there is no right way of life
I say that everyone can go the distance
I try to get somewhere in life
I hope to get far in life
I am a wise girl who shows emotions well

Why Hate?

The world was filled with nothing but hatred
Which made us leave our native stomping grounds
Every continent was mad about something
The war was stupid, and we wished
That it never happened
Just for the simple fact of the 1000’s that got killed
We saw people getting shot at dawn
We heard gunfire from every direction
We turned our heads
We really truly hated the war
Dads grabbed their children’s hand
In an attempt to reach freedom and safety
After we reached safety,
Which was a camp that many had settled in
We flew to any state in the U.S.
The air and food just didn’t smell the same
Parents worried about what would happen
To their children’s heritage
Just for the fact that we wanted to remain
Unique in America.

  Pain and Suffering?

In my eyes
There is no right and wrong,
I believe that we are equals
And rivals.
There is no feud
Or battle of the sexes,
Then, why does it feel
As if this is a man’s world
Women have said for centuries
That you can’t live with men
And you can’t live without them.
Is this true? Why not?
After all, this is a man’s world.
Let’s have a war
Just a man and woman
Of equal strength
Who do you think will win?
Just guess.
Women still need to fight
For what they believe.

What I Need Most in the World

Love and freedom is all I need
I can live without anything else but that
What do you need most in the world?
I hope that you have thought about it
at least once
Pride and Hope is the next best thing
because all I need is love and freedom
I will never run out of that
I have enough to spare
I don’t want to run out of pride and dignity
But what else could help
with the agony of living through others emotions
Like one wise tale, I go through all of the reliable
and go after what comes easily
I will not shed a tear
but what could be the most possible?
Outcome after outcome I go through
but then I come to a stop
I know what could help
Why not the sorrow of the other nightmares?
I’ve decided that you will never be happy
till you have the love and freedom you deserve,
cherish, and obey to get through life
