The 2002 Winter Olympics came to Mrs. Michelle Weber’s three seventh grade classrooms at West Fargo Middle School. Students in Weber’s Language Arts classes competed in five events for a chance to win a gold, silver or bronze medal. Events included Playful Poetry, Alliteration Competition, Lively Limericks, Pun Pictures and Active Acrostics. Classes selected medallists who then competed against the medal winners in Weber’s other classes for an overall champion in each category.
