Letter from the Editor

Welcome and thank you for visiting the first issue of horizonlines.org!

Poetry has had a large impact on the lives of many across our nation for centuries leading up to today and will continue to impact lives to come. Our goal for this magazine was to explore poetry, poets, sources of inspiration, poetry in the schools and resources available to poets in the greater Fargo-Moorhead area.

This magazine has been an adventure and a learning experience for everyone involved. Because of the long hours of work and intense subject matter, I believe we all have come away as better journalists and members of the community.

Thank you staff, Regene, Camilla and MSUM mass communications department for helping in ways too numerous to mention. Your dedication and support have already and will continue to enrich the lives of everyone who visits horizonlines.org.

I hope that you enjoy the articles and interactive material in this issue and take a moment to look at the world around you in a different way.

The horizonlines.org staff is comprised of students at Minnesota State University Moorhead and is under the supervision of Regene Radniecki and Camilla Wilson.
