Leah Prosser’s interest in her neighbor June’s independence is what motivated her to pursue a photographic project on her daily life. Leah’s primary frustration, however, came from June’s desire to keep her private life from being photographed. Despite that, Leah feels that she overcame a personal barrier by photographing a subject without any fear that she was interrupting her daily life, and she hopes her documentary will influence others to pay closer attention to those around them.
