Big
Brothers Big Sisters Continued..........
After 60 days, Wangler received 10-year-old
Mic. Hes a little quiet, very polite, very accommodating,
says Wangler. He is willing to try different things.
Mic and Wangler have tried a variety of activities, including
racquetball, wall climbing and hitting balls at Fargos Golf
Bubble.
We have even gone fishing
on the Sheyenne River, says Wangler. It has been a
fairly flexible program. We meet once a week, or on weekends.
It has been fun and challenging.
Wangler said he is impressed with
the organization of the program. As long as it continues
to work, and as long as I have time, Wangler says of his
stay with BBBS. I have enjoyed it so far. Mic has a couple
of older brothers, but his family has gone through some tough
times. This is a great program for him to participate in.
To become a Big Brother or Big Sister,
you must be at least 18 years old and willing to volunteeer two
to four hours twice a month, or one hour per week, for one full
year.
