Big Brothers Big Sisters Continued..........

After 60 days, Wangler received 10-year-old Mic. “He’s a little quiet, very polite, very accommodating,” says Wangler. “He is willing to try different things.” Mic and Wangler have tried a variety of activities, including racquetball, wall climbing and hitting balls at Fargo’s Golf Bubble.
“We have even gone fishing on the Sheyenne River,” says Wangler. “It has been a fairly flexible program. We meet once a week, or on weekends. It has been fun and challenging.”

Wangler said he is impressed with the organization of the program. “As long as it continues to work, and as long as I have time,” Wangler says of his stay with BBBS. “I have enjoyed it so far. Mic has a couple of older brothers, but his family has gone through some tough times. This is a great program for him to participate in.”
To become a Big Brother or Big Sister, you must be at least 18 years old and willing to volunteeer two to four hours twice a month, or one hour per week, for one full year.
